Dan has been with Sink, Gordon & Associates LLP since July of 2017 and is primarily responsible for tax accounting, consulting, business and personal finance advising, and working as a QuickBooks Proadvisor. Dan earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Colorado State University—Pueblo in 2013 with honors. Currently, Dan serves as Treasurer for Manhattan Area Habitat for Humanity.  Dan previously served as a director for the Montrose Chamber of Commerce, chaired the Governmental Affairs Counsel, and was a member of Young Professionals in Colorado before moving to Manhattan.

Betty has been with the firm since 1992, serving as a tax preparer and completing monthly accounting and payroll. Prior to entering the field, Betty earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Kansas State University in 1992. Currently, Betty holds several positions within the community. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Public Accountants Association of Kansas, as well as for the Riley Country 4-H Foundation. She is a member of the Seven Dolors Catholic Church and Manhattan Area Chamber of Commerce. Beyond her many involvements, Betty enjoys spending time with her family.

Michelle joined Sink, Gordon & Associates, LLP in December 2017 and brings over 28 years of experience to the firm. She primarily works with corporate accounting clients. Michelle earned her Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from Kansas State University in 1989. Outside of her responsibilities at the firm, Michelle is a member of St. Thomas More in Manhattan, Kansas, volunteers at the local schools and her church and has two children, Cody and Hannah.

Andy has worked at SGA since November 2005 and primarily specializes in tax preparation and planning, payroll tax reporting, QuickBooks Online, and compilations.  He is professionally involved as a member and part of the Board of Directors for the Public Accountants Association of Kansas, serving as the Accountants Seminar Committee Chair, and serves as Scholarship Committee member. Andy graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and his Master of Accountancy in 2002.  Outside of the office, Andy is a member of Faith Evangelical Free Church and treasurer for the Manhattan Rotary Club. Beyond his commitments, Andy enjoys spending time with his family and son Jacob, volunteering for Cub Scouts, serving as a Den Leader and watching K-State sports.

Brandon joined SGA in September 2018 and is primarily responsible for tax planning and preparation. He earned two degrees from Fort Hays State University: a Bachelor of Business Administration in 2015 and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in accounting in 2016. In his free time, Brandon enjoys staying active, participating in and watching sports, and spending time with family and friends.

Karla has worked in the accounting field for over 40 years, joining Sink, Gordon & Associates LLP in February of 1993, and is primarily responsible for personal tax, business tax, and bookkeeping. She attended Kansas State University, where she earned her bachelor's degree in 1977.  Outside of her time at the firm, Karla enjoys time with family and has one son.

Erika joined Sink, Gordon and Associates LLP in 2013. She graduated in 2002 with her Bachelor of Arts degree from Wartburg College in 2002. She then furthered her education by earning her Master of Music degree in 2004 from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Erika went on to obtain her Master of Accountancy degree from Stetson University in 2011. Prior to her work with SGA, she gained eight years of accountancy experience and lived in a variety of communities prior to Manhattan due to her husband’s active military service.  She advises clients in a number of areas including: compilation and review preparation, military tax strategies, QuickBooks consulting, tax preparation, payroll services, and general bookkeeping. Erika is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She enjoys spending time with her family, especially her two young daughters, and being active in her church and community.

Amy has been with Sink, Gordon & Associates LLP since January of 2010 and works primarily with business entities and individuals on taxation, research and consulting. Amy has a combined 20 years of accounting experience and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Kansas Society of Certified Public Accountants. She pursued a Bachelor of Science in Allied Health-Medical Dietetics at The Ohio State University and graduated in 1977. She gained her Master of Professional Accountancy from Wichita State University in December 1996. Amy gained her CPA designation in January 1997. Outside of the firm, she is involved with her church in Topeka, St. David’s Episcopal. Additionally, Amy volunteers for several organizations within the Topeka community by participating in Share Fest, Let’s Help and volunteering at Rescue Mission, among other organizations. Amy has three children.

Courtney has been part of the SGA team since 2011, primarily working with business tax return preparation, planning, and consulting. Courtney graduated from Kansas State University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and earned her CPA. In addition to her career, Courtney serves as Treasurer of Shepard’s Crossing in Manhattan. Outside of her time at the firm, she enjoys spending time with her family and daughter, Hadley, cheering on the K-State Wildcats, the Kansas City Royals and the Kansas City Chiefs.

Cara started at SGA in October of 2015 and focuses on administrative duties and client care. Prior to joining the firm, Cara earned her Associate of Arts from Barton Community College in 1998 and went on to earn her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Kansas State University in 2001. Cara is a member of St. Bernard’s Church and serves as a PTO member for Wamego Middle School where her son Zachary attends school.

Marne has worked in the accounting field for more than 25 years, joining Sink, Gordon & Associates LLP in August 2018. She is primarily responsible for firm administration duties. Marne graduated from Washburn University in 1991 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with an emphasis in management. Outside of her time at the firm, Marne enjoys spending time with her family and watching movies.  She and her husband have one daughter, Emily and two labs, Cole and Callie. They are members at University Christian Church in Manhattan.

Kaitlan joined the SGA team in November 2014 and specializes in individual and business tax preparation and planning, QuickBooks consulting and training, payroll, and bookkeeping. Before joining the firm, Kaitlan earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 2011 from Drake University in Des Moines, IA. Outside of work, Kaitlan is involved as a USATF Certified Track and Field Official and serves as a Track Official for Kansas State University.  Outside of her time at the firm, she enjoys spending time with her husband Brady and son Winston, traveling to Iowa to see her family, cheering on and attending many K-State Wildcat sporting events, and is a member of University Christian Church in Manhattan.

Kelsey joined SGA in November 2018 and primarily focuses on administrative duties. She graduated from the Cosmetology program at Bellus Academy in 2011 and completed the Certified Medical Assistant program at the University of New Mexico in 2016. In her free time, Kelsey enjoys spending time with her children, Bryson, Bry’Ella, and Kingston. They like to travel together, watch Disney movies, read animal books, and go to the park. Kelsey attends Saint Xavier Catholic Church.

Macy joined the SGA team in 2014, beginning her career at the firm as an intern until accepting her full-time position after graduating from Kansas State in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Macy’s main responsibilities within the firm include taxes, bookkeeping, and payroll. Above all, Macy enjoys spending time with her family and daughter Eliza.

Teresa has been with SGA since December of 1996 and focuses primarly on personal tax returns, monthly accounting and payroll. She attended Manhattan Area Technical School before joining the SGA team. She serves as a board member for the Public Accountants Association of Kansas. Teresa is involved in the community through attending Chamber After Hours and as an active member of the Fairview Presbyterian Church. Outside of her commitments, Teresa enjoys gardening and reading, attending her grandchildren’s activities and has three children.

Jacob has worked at SGA since January 2017, specializes in audits for local governments and not-for-profit organizations, and is QuickBooks certified. Originally from Seattle, Washington, Jacob began his career serving in the U.S. Army for five years. He completed his education at Kansas State University, earning his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with emphasis areas of accounting and finance. He graduated from K-State with his Masters of Accountancy in December 2017.  Outside of his work at SGA, Jacob enjoys golfing, fishing, woodworking, and spending time with his family.

Scott joined the SGA team in January of 1998 and is responsible for income tax preparation and planning, working with small businesses and not-for-profit entities, and is a resource in employee benefit plans. As a member of the firm, Scott enjoys helping clients develop and realize their goals for their business and the future. Scott graduated from Kansas State University in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science in Economics. He is currently a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.  Scott is active within the Seven Dolors Catholic Church and serves as secretary for the Greater Northview Action Team.

She earned two degrees from Fort Hays State University: Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting (2016) and Master of Business Administration with an accounting emphasis (2017). In her free time, she enjoys cooking and baking, cheering for the Royals, quality time with family, and long walks and drives through the country. Jenna is an active member of St. Isidores Catholic Church.

Travis joined the SGA team in January of 2010 and is primarily responsible for business and individual tax, trust and estate tax, and is a certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor. Travis graduated from Kanas State University with his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 2008 and his Master of Accountancy in 2009 from Kansas State University. Along with his career, Travis is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and serves on the Board of Directors for the Public Accountants Association of Kansas. Beyond his professional commitments, Travis is a volunteer coach for several area youth sports teams and is a lifelong Kansas City Royals and Chiefs fan.

Elmerene brings over 50 years of accounting experience to the firm. She joined SGA in November 2017 and specializes in small business accounting and tax preparation. Outside of the firm, Elmerene takes pride in supporting local charities, spending time with her grandchildren, being outdoors and reading.

Tim started at SGA in 1994 and has over 41 years of experience in accounting. Tim’s focus for the firm is tax preparation and planning. Tim gained his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Pittsburg State University in 1976. Outside of the firm, Tim is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Manhattan Country Club, and has two older children.

Vicky joined the firm in 2007 and brings ten years of accounting experience to her clients. Her primary areas of focus are: payroll, financial statements, and trust, business and individual tax preparation. She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from York College in 2007. Professionally, Vicky is a member of the Public Accountants Association of Kansas. Outside of her time with the firm, Vicky stays active in the community with her church and enjoys time with family and friends. She and her husband, Jacob, have three children: Brooklyn, Delcie and Cason.

Tammy joined Sink, Gordon & Associates LLP in August 1990. Within the firm, Tammy is primarily responsible for taxation and accounting for small businesses and individuals. She is a member of the National Society of Accountants, is currently President for the Public Accountants Association of Kansas. She has held past positions as president and secretary for the local PAAK chapter. Prior to the development of her career, Tammy graduated from Kansas State University in 1987, earning her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Beyond her professional commitments, Tammy is on Parish Council at Seven Dolors Catholic Church and has held leadership roles within community organizations such as Riley County 4-H Foundation and Wildcat 4-H Club. In her free time, Tammy enjoys spending time outdoors and with her two daughters and their families.

Margret has been with Sink, Gordon & Associates LLP since January of 1983 and primarily focuses on basic accounting-bookkeeping, including financial statement preparation and payroll. Margret appreciates her time at SGA because she enjoys working with her clients and having the opportunity to get to know them. Margret graduated from Kansas State University in 1978 and began her career with International Harvester prior to joining SGA. Outside of her time in the office, Margret serves as the Director for the Public Accountants Association of Kansas and enjoys needlepoint and crocheting.

Laurene holds 33 years of experience in the accounting industry, 23 of which have been with Sink, Gordon & Associates LLP, beginning in January of 1994. Laurene specializes in tax preparation, financial statement compilations, tax planning, consulting, payroll preparation, and working as a Certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor. In conjunction with her work, Laurene is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Kansas Society of Certified Public Accountants. Before beginning her career, Laurene earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis area in Accounting from Kansas State University, graduating in 1994 and earning her CPA designation.  Currently, Laurene spends the majority of her free time serving as a council member for both Wamego High School and St. Bernard Catholic Church and served as the Treasurer for the Wamego Athletic Booster Club. Outside of volunteering her time for the Wamego community, Laurene dedicates her time to her children, Nathan, Ellianna, and Adam and to following Kansas State sports.

Sandi has been with Sink, Gordon & Associates LLP since July 1984, immediately following her graduation from Manhattan Area Technical College. She is responsible for accounts receivable, billing, payroll and electronic filing. Sandi is very active in her community, serving as the treasurer for the City of Randolph, secretary for Randolph PRIDE, and an active member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church. She volunteers for the Randolph Independence Day festivities and the community fish fry. Outside of her time at the firm, Sandi enjoys spending time with her family, attending KSU football games and walking for exercise.

Justin joined Sink, Gordon & Associates, LLP, in January 2018 and primarily focuses on tax preparation for SGA clients. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from Kansas State University in 2017. During his time at K-State, Justin was a member of the Kansas State University Marching Band Drumline and Smith Scholarship House. He still enjoys playing drums and performs at his church. In January 2019, Justin joined the Smith Scholarship House Alumni Board as the Treasurer. In his free time, Justin enjoys sports such as football and basketball. He and his wife, Jillian, are members of University Christian Church.

Gina joined Sink, Gordon & Associates LLP in January 2011, bringing 6 years of public accounting experience with her.  Her professional experience includes income tax preparation, consulting, auditing & attest services, municipal budgeting, payroll services, and other accounting services.  Additionally, she is a QuickBooks ProAdvisor.  In 2004, Gina graduated from Kanas State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, majoring in accounting with an economics minor.  She then pursued her Masters of Accountancy degree with an emphasis in accounting information systems, graduating in 2005. When not at the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two small children attending sporting events, school activities, and enjoying the outdoors.

Prior to joining the firm, Cathy earned two degrees from Friends University: accounting and organizational management. In her free time, she enjoys fishing, watching her kids play sports, and spending time with family.

Robert joined the SGA team in June of 2009. He primarily focuses on Windows Server Administration and small business network management.  Within the firm, Robert is responsible for information technology management, IT consulting, IT support and troubleshooting, and network security, backed by 15 years of experience in the IT field. Robert graduated from the Kansas State University College of Business in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems and completed his Master of Business Administration degree in 2011. Robert is a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus Council. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, hiking and doing Crossfit.

Gail grew up in Clay Center, KS and graduated from Clay Center Community High School in 1986.  She attended cosmetology school at Crum’s Beauty College in Manhattan, Kansas immediately following graduation.  She graduated from cosmetology school with her cosmetology degree in June of 1987.Gail went to work for Sink, Gordon & Associates LLP in 1992.  Sink, Gordon & Associates acquired a tax conference company by the name of Professional Tax Institutes, Inc (PTI) and hired Gail as the Conference Coordinator/Administrative Assistant.  Gail has been with Sink, Gordon & Associates, LLP for 25 years and with PTI for 24 years. Gail also coordinated and managed the Blue Valley Ball Association for the youth in the USD 384 school district for 6 years.  In her off time off she like spending time with her family and taking care of their dogs and cats.  

Nancy Williams  |  Email


Nancy has been with Sink, Gordon & Associates LLP since 1978 and is responsible for accounts receivable and providing administrative support for the partners. Prior to her work in the accounting industry, Nancy earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas in 1974 and raised three children: Michael, Daniel, and Katelyn. Nancy stays involved in the community by serving as the Public Relations Chair for both the Riley County Genealogical Society and the Friends of Peace Memorial Auditorium. Most recently, Nancy was appointed to the Riley County Museum Board of Trustees by the Riley County Commissioners.

Logan joined the Sink, Gordon & Associates LLP team in 2017 and is responsible for tax and accounting services for individuals, partnerships, and S-corporations. Logan graduated from William Jewell College in 2016, obtaining bachelor degrees in accounting and business administration, and just recently earned his masters of accountancy in June 2017 from Kansas State University. Outside of work, Logan is a member of Bethany Lutheran Church and enjoys playing sports and cheering on K-State, the Chiefs, and the Royals.

Shelia has been with Sink, Gordon & Associates LLP since September of 1998.  She specializes in a variety of areas in for the firm including preparation of corporate and partnership tax returns, individual taxation preparation, payroll preparation and compliance, small business accounting, and sales tax. Prior to joining SGA, Shelia earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in accounting from Rockhurst College in 1993. In conjunction with her career, Shelia serves on the Board of Directors for the Public Accountants Association of Kansas. Currently, Shelia devotes most of her free time to her three children: Michael, Elizabeth, and Isabel and is an active member of the community, holding leadership positions in several organizations including the Blue Valley Booster Club, the Manhattan Catholic Schools Booster Club, and the College Hill 4-H Club.
